Sometimes it’s good to rip out your old kitchen and start again with a whole new design, even replace the appliances and start again with a whole new theme; you may have a limited budget though and may have to make some compromises. There are however some options available, such as going to auction and looking for ex-showroom pieces and having them adapted to fit your kitchen, and a trip to your local B&Q for the little extras not included within the discounted kitchen. You can also get a kitchen custom made and put it together yourself, or if you know someone in your family who handy you could ask them.
There are times when the kitchen is in good condition, but has a horrible dated design that just makes you want to throw up whenever you have to use the kitchen. There are even options available for this, as you can have your counter tops replaced or resprayed and you can weigh up which is the cheaper option and go with that. As for the cabinet doors and the draw facers you can swap them out for something modern for cheap, or just repaint them and buy some new handles that have a more modern look and feel to them.
Whatever you decide to do depends on your budget and the overall condition of the kitchen.
